Jim Webb writes an interesting 'bio' in this book. It relates much of his history and makes you proud that such dedicated public spirited citizens are there. As to answers to questions, Webb poses, the situation on the ground changes too fast for this book, which is already a bit long of tooth to be more than a partial guide. If you are looking for information on the candidate Webb, you get a good back ground. If you are looking for some indication of how he might deal with future issues, you get a sense of a studied and thoughtful approach. If you are looking for some indicator of the kind of decisions he might make I suggest you need to look at his more recent pronouncements.
