RFI mitigation at various stages in a GPS receiver from the GPS antenna to the navigation solution has been studied extensively except for the acquisition process. RFI mitigation in the acquisition process has not been the focus of study mainly because of the few parameters controlling the acquisition process. This research studies the effect of the RFI signals in the acquisition process of a GPS receiver.
