Inscribed by the Artist. 79 full page duotone portraits of artists, nicely reproduced and bound in a softcover catalogue published on the occasion of the exhibition at the Museum of Art, Carnegie Institute in Pittsburgh from September 12-November 8, 1981. Inscribed by the photographer in black on the half title "For Barry ___ / with best wishes / Arthur Mones". Binding is tight, and interior is clean and clear of markings. White stiff paper covers are tanning at the edges and spine, associated with age. Artists photographed include Lee Krasner, Willem de Kooning, Jack Beal, Alice Neel, Arman, Jennifer Bartlett, Louisa Mathiasdotter, Allen Ginsburg, Al Held, and many others.
