I love the simple and to-the-point approach Dr. Pulos takes in this book. Although, I think copies of it are getting rarer and rarer because he retired a few years ago. I seriously recommend this book in any bibliography when writing something on modern applications for hypnosis, mind power and the like and in combination with Julian Jaynes's works also.
In fact, I can honestly say that I bumped into this book at a bookstore that was in Lawndale, California in the mid-1990's, but at the time I shrugged it off as "a whatever type of thing" at the time. But, at this point in my life, I see the value of what he is teaching and propagating in this book. It is even deeper than his audio programs for Nightingale-Conant or Simon & Schuster, or his own hypnosis materials. So deep at times, it may be mistaken for weird if you do not give it an honest chance. I made that mistake, and if you do get this book, don't make the mistake I did and go like "too deep for me" or have the opposite problem and go "too simply applicable to be real or true". If you understand what I am saying in this review, thank you for your time. If not, I wish you good luck, you're gonna need it to deal with your mind without this knowledge base or understanding.
