Very Good. Book Xlv, 555, 593 pages. Red leather spine and corners, gilt title and decorations on spine, 5 raised bands. A clean ex-library set which shows only few signs of wear. Interesting annotations in pencil, also includes several neatly written and interleaved pages of annotations to certain books. Volume I includes the official prospectus for this set. A handwritten note says that only 40 copies of this set were printed "so Lilly told me". A nice set.
