This book was useful in allowing my daughter to be able to create knotwork as part of her project work, as well as giving her a broad grounding in the range of different types of knotwork. A great reference for anyone interested in knotwork, particularly those wanting to create their own.

The classic book on the subject, _Celtic Art: The Methods of Construction_, came from George Bain's mind and pen; this clearer, easier-to-use guide came from George's son, Iain. If you want to understand how to draw Celtic knotwork patterns, get this book.
