I have crocheted for many years and let it go for a few years and am just now picking it up again. When I crocheted before, it was usually afghans, doll clothes, baby layettes and similiar items.
I was never able to crochet clothes. They were too stiff and bulky. The best patterns seemed to always be knitted and they would be more comfortable and better looking.
This book showed me that I can finally crochet some clothes that are very beautiful and do not look bulky. There are many cardigans, pullovers, and vests. There is even even a few that looks like a fisherman cable sweater.
I can't wait to get started on Christmas presents for my adult daughters.
This book has a big variety for women. That is the only criticism. The patterns are all for women. That can be a positive thing in that there is a wide choice of patterns for women.
Now I am search for a book that shows patterns for the rest of the family.
