Good. Stated First Edition and scarce first issue of same. Pictorial wraps. 169pp. Illustrated with maps and drawings by the author & others, & several photos. Former owner's address (Elk, Washington) and telephone number written in ink above title. The Patterson book is a seminal book, the first published book entirely devoted to Bigfoot or sasquatch in North America. Ivan Sanderson's 1961 book predates it & includes N. A. material, but was global in scope. The publication of Patterson's book was a watershed publication which helped usher in the era of modern research on the subject/creature/primate. It predated the Patterson-Gimlin film footage by a year. This is the stated First Edition, and is bibliographically the first in sequence in sequence as COPY 1 in my bibliography of the Patterson book, Roger Patterson's Snowman Book, which is now in its second edition.
