I?ve read a number of Java related texts over the years but have always had problems putting a mental picture together as to how to write a web based application. The book while dealing with JAVA is actually focused on how JAVA integrates with other components of a web deployment. While using IBM WebSphere, it identifies the open source components drawn from, that form the base of WebSphere allowing a de-coupling of concepts from WebSphere. While I?m only on Ch11, I?m very satisfied with the content. CopyRight 2003 yet is focused on the core issues forming the base of today?s technology trends. Over all, very happy my night school teacher suggested it and relieved to have found, secured at a cheep cost and receive it as fast as I did from Alibris.
