This second edition of European Human Rights Law incorporates these new cases, a chapter review of structural changes now pending ratification, and a review of changes in the Strasbourg system resulting from the admission of the newly democratic states of Central and Eastern Europe. Also included are chapters on Article 5: the Right to Liberty, and on the application of the treaty in domestic law, focusing on Britain.
