This cute little english book supplies insight intoo the age and era that led to the Development of the modern toilet and sewer system. That we owe much to it''s little known father "Thomas A Crapper" and his factory workers who was the Thomas Edison of the Wastewater world. Except he helped save countless millions of lives through his own scientific testing and demonstrations that led to manufacturing and adoption of products and services by the elite of his age. It is sad that we here in America have chosen to honor this man with our own label of an regular periodical excremental expericence by a division of his name. This book tells of the life of this unsung hero of his time and ours that was loooked upon as a mere manufacturer of plumbimg systems and a working fixture used to relieve oneself. But in doing so he reduced the worldwide death rates associated with poor wastewater handling and treatment several hundered percentiles. But what statute does he have? What special celebration is regularly given in his honor? On a few manhole covers in the older sections of England. His factory is now a mishmash of shops, home is gone, and only a handful of examples of his fixtures are left and this book documents their locations as well.
