Very nice easy reading
I checked this out of the library and started reading this to my 2 year old. I thought it might introduce her to the concept of what is a bad mood and how we get out of them but it just turned out to be a book she enjoyed. After I returned my wife indicated our daughter continued to ask about it. The art work is nice, the backgrounds are somewhat abstract and yet she can identify a butterfly and other objects not directly related to the story. The story is cute, a bird gets out of his funk and makes friends and also has some fantastical qualities in that they all learn can fly; even those that are not birds. I read this in justa few minutes before bed.
