Sun fading to the spine and edges of the front cover. Slight rubbing to the corners and spine ends. Some dust soiling to page edges and toning to the pages. The book is tight and unmarked throughout with a few small stains on pp. 9-11 that do not affect the legibility of the page. A very good copy. Also laid in are some interesting period ephmera including a scarce advertisement for "Buckeye' Cleanser, a pamphlet on how to make liquid soap and shampoo from "Buckeye" Concentrated Base Soap and handwritten notes of recipes for cleaning solutions. This is the Revised and Enlarged Edition. Boasting its "Money Making Facts for Everyone" on the front cover this compilation of over 10, 000 household and workshop formulas was intended to "meet the practical requirements of the home and workshop--the mechanic, the manufacturer, the artisan, the housewife, and the general home worker." This is a wonderful book and it is quite dated. Still, I had to get it. Squeezing my wallet until the money dripped out; buying from Alibris was the first thought that came to mind. I ordered and settled in expecting a long waiting period, I was pleasantly surprised to get the book in slightly better than 5 days, and in a bit better condition than described by the seller.
All in a great experience and no errors of any kind. Would I recommend this experience? I reply with a resounding YES!!
