A condition imposed upon the company by the bank is that all the creditors promptly consent to the settlement. Herein you will find copy of the agreement which has been signed by a large number of the creditors present. If same is satisfactory please sign it and return to the undersigned as early as possible. We have had a great deal of trouble with these goods because of returns, claims, etc., owing to the fact that the sizes are wrong in many instances, and the goods poorly made. We cannot hope to sell the goods to any of our customers; and in fact we have already lost some trade on account of them. We want George T. Stone to take the goods back, as they are practically of no value to us at all. We would suggest that you write him making a claim for $139. You might tell him that he cannot expect us to pay for goods which ought not to have been shipped at all, that the matter has been put into your hands for adjustment, and that you demand an immediate statement from him as to his intentions.
