Seller's Description:
Very good. Connecting readers with great books since 1972! Used books may not include companion materials, and may have some shelf wear or limited writing. We ship orders daily and Customer Service is our top priority!
I hoped this book would reprint some of the Sotheby's photographs of the 2003 auction of Jacqueline Onassis' possessions, but instead it is a rehash of familiar photographs from the White House interiors. Very disappointing, given the "auction of the century" blurb. A waste of money if you're at all familiar with the subject.

Essential Jackie
If you are a fan of the late former First Lady, then this book is must. It shows her consistent, and calssic taste in furniture, artwork, and objects, revealing much of her well-formed asthete. Be it a drawing by Fragonard, a delicate armchir, or a pastel drawing of her daughter Caroline, the reader sees several sides of Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy - impish, romantic, devoted mother, athlete, and equestrienne!
