It is intended to be both a handy desk reference and a design guide. The book provides a chapter for a description of each of the 14 principle fastening and joining methods used to assemble plastics today. The advantages and disadvantages of each method are listed at the beginning of each chapter; rapid guidelines for joining of plastics are also provided. The author has gone to considerable lengths to make information retrieval quick and effective. The book is extensively indexed and contains a detailed table of contents.
