This paper provides an overview of the technical properties and requirements, concrete composition, areas of application, installation methods and joint formation of concrete pavements in conventional construction, whitetopping construction and rolled concrete construction. This paper can serve as a good basis for future research on the dimensioning and optimisation of the installation method for rolled concrete pavements.
