Eve Dallas does it again
This was a very good story with more than one line going on at once.

Another super Eve Dallas book. the subject in this one is close to the heart of anyone who has lost a loved one to treachery. Eve Dallas is a cop in a million, gritty story, great sex/love theme as always, the details are very precise and the climax always worth the wait. All the characters (Rourke/Peabody/McNab/Mavis/Dr Mira etc) are consistent to each story's different aspect.
Really good read. The overall staging, from the abusive and poor background Eve has had to the riches she now has with Rourke, are remarkable as she still gets the bad guy, or sometimes bad woman.

Awesome!!!! I love the ability of Lt Eve Dallas to have risen above all the abuse to make herself a stuning and appealing person. She makes me want to read more.
