This Teacher's Guide and Copymaster book is the second of two which support KEYSTART UK ATLAS, part of the Keystart series, a comprehensive atlas programme for 7 to 11 year olds. The first part of the book, is the Teacher's Guide, each page explains an atlas topic, starting by giving the National Curriculum statement and QCA units which the atlas spread supports, cross curricular links and the geographical concepts the spread illustrates. The learning potential and implications, and how to use the spread are all explained. The two copymasters supporting the atlas spread are then explained and linked to the National Curriculum and QCA units. Learning objectives and outcomes are given, as well as a suggested lesson plan, and key vocabulary words are listed. These pages of notes are followed by forty graded copymasters.
