I highly recommend this book to those interested in the confluence of science, art, and nature with an extra special recommendation for those teaching an art form and/or those performing an art form. The author guides the reader through the mathematics inherent to nature and how composers, painters, architects, etc. have applied these natural applications to their work. Often the mathematics is above the head of a layman such as myself but, the higher end math is not necessary to understand the gist of the material.
