Excellent Book on Mathematics & Weather Prediction
I loved this book! Sir O.G. Sutton was a great author, and scientist/mathematician. I especially enjoyed section on the early science and basics of numerical weather prediction. It really gave me a basic understanding and it was fun to learn about the infancy of how computers in the "future" will be faster and more powerful to assist in the prediction of weather and aid in other scientific fields. He was an expert on air pollution, boundary layer meteorology, numerical weather prediction as well as physics and math. Thankfully Sir Sutton lived until 1975 - which was enough time for him to see how computers greatly assisted with numerical weather prediction and weather forecasting. I recently bought all of O.G. Sutton's books and would highly recommend them.
