Fine in very good dust jacket. 366 pp. with index. Illustrated with photographs. A behind-the scenes look at the creation of one of the 20th century stage's biggest hits, "A Chorus Line". The show debuted in 1975, won nine TONY awards and the 1976 Pulitzer Prize for Drama. It ran for over 6100 performances until 1990. In this min depth look, members of the orignal cast tell their stories from the first taping session in 1974 with director Michael Bennett to the triumphant run on the Broadway stage. This copy was presented to a sponor of the Paper Mill Playhouse and warmly inscribed to him by Viagas, Lee and Walsh and a letter from the president of the theater is laid in.
