This is a good book, that updates Hansen's 1996 classic. It is as good as many other modern texts on the subject of antenna arrays. Like most modern books, it looses the detailed derivations and explanations in the classic 1966 book.
If you need one book on phased arrays, this is a good choice. If you can find it also get the classic.
