This book presents characters as recipies - add this this and this and you have character type X, Y or Z.
Does offer some understanding on why some people do the things they do.
Diagnostic character test at beginning easy to "cheat" on, and probably not terribly diagnostic. Some word choices hard to decipher what author meant.

Short form Myers Briggs
This is kind of a short form of the widely used Myers Briggs personality test. It's fun, easy and has indepth personality comments.

Be Yourself
A must read for those struggling to make "others" like themselves or struggling to be themselves when others are trying to make them over. A very helpful, non-judgemental description of very different character types, why we are inclined to behave as we do, and what to watch out for in others and ourselves. Helps you know and understand your strengths, your flaws, how others may see you and most of all to be yourself.

excellent book
This book has changed my life and the lives of many others. If you have trouble knowing just what you want in life, it could be that you do not know yourself. These personality types are a wide range of persons and shows the percentage that you are in concerning the general population. It is so enlightening and refreshing. Others can come to know who you are too rather than who they think you are. I would recommend this book to everyone. My experience with this book was at a retreat in CA several years ago. It was a very pleasant one. I cannot be like someone else, I am me. My percentage of the general population was a low number which helped me to understand that I am different and will always be. I understood for the first time my unique personality is who God made me to be. I have fallen in love with who I am. I have never been so happy. We cannot expect others to love us if we cannot connect with ourselves and love us and who we are.
