this is a very advance book on soil dynamics which is not suppose to be sold in north america. the author said the north america version would be slightly different from this non north america version.
it covers soil dynamics including liquifaction which is not find in detail in many undergraduate soil mechanic books. not only is this book very gears towards practicality, it's printed in 2011 which is just this year of 2010.
although the auther said it's not intended for north america, u can still use it as a second hand reference.
i would recommend this book to anyone who is interested in further soil dynamics which is not taught to the undergradate level.
i hope soil dynamics would include undergraduate training soon because i'm a very curious person and an incomplete educations undermine our ability to solve complex problems at work.
