Thomas Marent?s life dedicated to photographing the wonders of the earth?s rainforests has resulted in a book of wonderful beauty. This is an ideal coffee table book except for the fact that your guests will be sorely tempted to ignore you for the book. (Maybe not so bad if it?s the in-laws,) An excellent book to have around children, as the pictures are wonderful and the text isn?t full of technical jargon. The pictures have species and location clearly labeled with their scientific names if you are inspired to search for more information on a picture. The pages are black and heavier than average. The colors are brilliant against the black background.
