They worked on weapons development mainly, such as how to shoot down missiles. They had a large contract during President Reagan time. When this ended suddenly IITRI disappeared and IIT got much poorer. Seven appendices in this book describe problems of current interest. They are 1.Deepwater Horizen oil spill 2.
