She knew the kind of man she married, but, Politics and Power meant more to her than Character and Honor.
Politics was the Beginning and Ironically the End for her.

A little wordy at times, but inspiring
I came away from this book feeling like a close personal friend of Elizabeth Edwards. She really bared heart and soul with this inspiring desciption of her personal and family struggles with her son's death and her own first battle with cancer. It also includes a pretty interesting family history and tales of the campaign trail. My only criticism is that it tends to get a little wordy at times as she recounts some of the posts that she made to message boards following her son's death. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone, no matter your political persuasion.
