Who ever thought that a man would write a book about an 18-year-old boy studying fashion in New York? What has this world come to? This story is an exciting adventure of fashion and mystery. Hunter, the main character, is a teen living with his parents in the suburbs of New York as a ?cool hunter?. This means he is at the top of the ?cool pyramid? looking for the latest and greatest in fashion. But, his job takes a dramatic turn when he and Jen, the ultimate Innovator (a person who starts weird fads like the first person to wear a baseball cap backwards or wear a hooded sweatshirt under a leather jacket) find his boss missing. They now have to weave their way through he web of fashion and find clues int the latest trends to locate their style savvy boss.
This laugh-out-loud novel is aimed toward teens because of the modern fads, recent locations, and ?teen talk?, a language of words, companies and phrases that only teenagers can understand. Even though the plot was somewhat hard to follow, there were many interesting facts and stories that helped the subject move along.
This clever and hip novel has amazing twists and turns that will leave people rolling on the floor with laughter. I?m not sure who ever dreamt that a man would write a book about an 18-year-old boy studying fashion in New York, but whoever it was, was a genius.
