Very Good. Reprint. 328pp. 4pp. of advertisements. Blue cloth with black and gilt stamped lettering. Illustrated with a color frontispiece, and black and white portraits. Pages lightly age-toned, front hinge cracked, extremities worn and bumped, about very good. Inscribed by the author on the author's letterhead and affixed to the front pastedown: "With the Author's compliments to Rev. Wm. Dawson Bridge, 3 July 1921." Presumably a relative of the author, Rev. Bridge was a minister and author who invented a shorthand system. This is an account of Admiral Sir Cyprian Arthur George Bridge's fifty years of service in the British Royal Navy.
