The book was shipped very fast and when I ordered it new, the book was in great condition without any major damage.
As far as the contents of Agresti?s statistics book is concerned, the book is well organized without much of the verbose clutter you find in other statistical textbooks. One unique feature about this book is that all of the practice problems have answers unlike many books that only give you odd or even numbered answers. It may be because I have the Instructor?s Edition and not the Student?s Edition, but most instructor?s edition books I?ve seen don?t give you all the answers. The first few chapters bring you to an engaging introduction to the principles of statistics with numerous examples to show you how these fundamental statistical methods are done. I have yet to read the latter half of the textbook and review information about parameter tests and ANOVA, but for now, this is a great statistics book to study from.
