Extremely clear line drawings of manufacturer marks are illustrated not only in the index to marks, but also each pattern page shows the appropriate maker mark. There is also a section showing various place & serving pieces ranging from the ordinary to the unusual. The author oversees one of the most comprehensive flatware matching services in the country (Money Magazine, April 1988) & has held seminars on flatware. Numerous articles on flatware have been published in collector magazines & newspapers by this author. This book is a must for any reference library.
