With a doodle by the author to the half-title, showing a man read the book on a lectern. Held in the original publisher's unclipped dustwrapper. A humorous satire by Ralph Steadman, being a satire of the 1960s, a parody of numerous events and cultural moments in the decade. A sharp look at the pop culture and politics of the 60s. A section in this work is titled 'Hogarth Schmogarth', and contains a variety of Steadman's reproductions of Hogarth's works. Illustrated profusely throughout. Illustrated and written by Ralph Steadman. Steadman is a Welsh illustrator, who is best known now for his illustrative collaboration with the writer Hunter S. Thompson.
