IMAGINATIVE FICTION
Wonderfully imaginative tale! Can't wait to read more of Calvino's stories.

magical realist page-turner
This imaginatively wrought tale explores the world of a young baron who sees fit to climb into the trees after a spat with his father and vows never to come down. Calvino's works are texturally rich, wildly inventive, and marvelously fantastical. Although I love all of his work, this is the novel that got me hooked, and also the one I find the easiest to read.... a magical realist page-turner.
