Seller's Description:
Good. No Jacket. 6" x 9" 3-volume set ships as one item! 1" ink mark inside back cover of Volume 1, else texts clean & bright; the page containing Plates 3 & 4 was mis-bound by the publisher, resulting in it originally sticking out the top of the text block by about a quarter-inch--this lip has been folded back down on a diagonal, with a tear along the top edge; bindings tight; very minor wear to covers; lacks dustjackets (but I have not been able to determine if they were indeed issued djs). 1650 pages. The classic, thorough history of Jews in the western hemisphere, starting with Christopher Columbus, and ending with the United States' Declaration of Independence from Great Britain. Scarce to find as a complete set in hardcover.
