None. Very Good. A copy of the early twentieth-century collection of Thomson's works, in a fine binding. James Thomson (1700-1748) was a Scottish poet and playwright and is perhaps best known for his lyrics of 'Rule, Britannia! ' He is depicted on the Scott Monument. Features Thomson's collection of poems: Seasons, along with his Epistles and a selection of Juvenalia. In a full, padded leather binding with gilt lettering to the spine, with a gilt monogram 'JT' to the front board. Externally, excellent with only shelfwear to the head and tail of spine, and slight fading to the spine. Internally, lovely. Pages are bright and clean. Firmly bound. Very Good.

James Thomson (11 September 1700 – 27 August 1748) was a Scottish poet and playwright, known for his masterpiece The Seasons and the lyrics of Rule, Britannia! . In a decorative full calf binding. Externally, very smart with just minor shelfwear only. Chip to spine label. Front joint cracked but firm. Internally, firmly bound. Some spotting to the endpapers but otherwise very clean throughout. Ink inscription to front free endpaper, dated 1919. Very Good.
