I ordered this book when I read that it is handy for an experienced crocheter to refresh memory of how to crochet after a break. The first thing I noticed was Q&A on the back of book stating: "what's the difference of popcorn st, bobble st, and puff st?" and was intrigued and looked it up. It was nice to clear answer for this as I've struggled to understand the difference myself.
The book is in a Q&A format and is not meant to be read front to back, but to look up with using the index or looking within the major topic sections in the book. The book is small and compact, so it is prefect to put into a bag for a trip with your project.

Handy book great for beginners
As a beginner learning crocheting from books and videos, I had many uncertainties in my mind, and this little book addresses them. The Q & A format is easy to read and easy to skim. The diagrams and sketches are very clear and easy to understand. I feel much more confident about embarking on my own unique design projects now that I have this book at my side.
