SO FAR AS TO WHAT I'VE READ ( I'M ON THE THIRD CHAPTER SO FAR) THE FIRST TWO CHAPTERS WERE DEPRESSING TO READ RE: THE ATHEIST. THE NEXT CHAPTER ON GOD IS A SPIRIT THE AUTHOR LEAVES NO STONE UNTURN. IF I DID NOT KNOW OR BELIEVE THE AWESOMENESS OF GOD I WOULD HAVE NO OTHER CHOICE TO BELIEVE OR JUST BE A FOOL !!!!!!!!!!, AND I MEAN A FOOLS, FOOL !!!!!!!!!

Excellent Perspective of God
There are few books that I have bought, read, given away and found as positively profound yet undenyably compelling as Charnock's "The Existence and Attributes of God." This book will place any person who sets out to seek the great and wonderful face of his Creator, in its proper and glorious perspective - High and lifted up. And this happens while bringing new understanding to scriptures that you have heard and sped by a hundred times as you read daily devotions. There are things in this book that are way over my head and Charnock makes no apologies for lacing his works with intermittent words in Hebrew that send you to your Strong's Concordance. This book is not for the casual reader who wants to stimulated by the mass media milk of modern self-centered religion; however, it is definitely for those will diligently seek in the writings of old when the English language was well used and every word was weighed with purpose. At this point, I can only ask your forgiveness if you are not blessed after reading the first 15 pages in the very first chapter entitled: THE EXISTENCE OF GOD," which draws upon Psalm 14:1. But I know this too: that you will be blessed, and God will be glorified when you see Him in the glory that is His, and Charnock does this so well as he brings out from the Holy writ of scripture - the God of Glory!
