There are no dates after the second title page for The French Revolution but after the Centenary Edition page, the next page says Originally published 1837. These are Parts I and II (Vols. I and II) of the 3 vol., Vol. II The French Revolution. Vol. I has several pages unopened, inner hinge slightly cracked, tissue overlays browned, corners slightly rubbed and light soiling on front of dark maroon cover, has 289 pages and is in very good condition. Vol. II is moderately stained on covers and a little lighter on spine and part of rear cover from dampstaining, some inner photo pages have dark damp stains, several pages unopened, has 308 pages and is only in good condition. In both volumes, the text pages are very good+.
