1920's Klan
This is a very well researched and written book. The title is a bit misleading as it deals with Arkansas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Texas. The only one of those states I consider as southwest is Texas. There was so little Klan activity in Arizona, New Mexico and southern California that this was the southwest to the 1920's Klan. Regardless, the book is very interesting and illustrates quite well the difference between the 1920's era and other Klan incarnations. Even as a microcosm it illuminates well the rise and fall and the philosophy of the Klan of this era. Scarce source material well used.
