I first discovered this book when I was studying for my Registered Nursing board exam. I could not find answers in the many nursing references I had, so I stumbled upon this book in the library. I discovered gold! The book gives a comprehensive overview of medical problems and treatments, striking an excellent balance between brevity and detail. It is written in plain language without being condescending. After examining the full-blown version and comparing it to this Home Edition, I decided the latter was the one I wanted for my nursing library.
