None. Very Good. A scarce second edition of Richard Tickell's satirical poem dedicated to the churchman Josiah Tucker. This was the poet's first work. The second edition of this work. A scarce work. Collated, complete. ESTC citation number T2401. Disbound. 'The Project' is a satirical poem, dedicated to Dean Josiah Tucker, a Welsh churchman. In this poem Tickell proposed to install a vast stove called a 'Buzaglo' in the Houses of Parliament, to be fed with inflammatory matter, to fight the effects of winter in Parliament. Written by Richard Tickell, a playwright and satirist. This was his first work, which was soon followed by his 'Wreath of Fashion'. Disbound. Externally, the outer leaves are age-toned with some marks, with an ink splatter to the front outer wrap. Internally, firmly bound. Very small puncture mark to the gutter of the title page. Very small chip to the last leaf, not affecting text. Very Good.
