Muhammad Ali's book of "life lessons learned"
This book is an easy read, it was done as a sort of spiritual autobiography late in life, regarding life lessons learned. It represents an older and wiser Muhammad Ali who better understood his role in the scheme of the universe, who understood that his boxing career was only a leaping off point to being a personality who had "teachings" to offer to the world through the example he set, his philanthropic nature, his availability to fans and to friends and family, etc. The book is an easy read in that each chapter is quite short, they are like little anecdotes from throughout his life, but each is presented in a format that sort of leaves you with a "teaching" from Muhammad Ali, the entire book is done almost as a summary of the lessons that he learned in his life. It is like the distilled wisdom from a Muhammad Ali toward the end of his journey on this planet.................... I liked the book very much, though it left me hungry for more, more detail, more anecdotes, etc. Regardless of what "more" I was hoping for, the book still stands quite well on its own. I enjoyed it very much.
