Douglas Murray articulates very well what many of us are thinking on this subject of mass immigration, in particular Islamic immigration.
'Strange' is the key word in the title of the book in that we are constantly being told by Europe's political classes that immigration is good for us and even vital for our countries survival and that if we oppose it then we are racist. This despite the polls indicating that the public do not want more of it.
Murray talks about how the politicians are pushing onto us feelings of guilt for our own countries past bad histories of slavery and colonization, in particular Germany's attempt to put things right because of what they did in WW2, and that now we have to atone for it with mass immigration of people from the third world.
It is a very well researched book with interesting facts and commentary, and there are some lovely wry remarks that bring cheer amid a rather depressing subject.
People should read this book if they are worried about mass immigration and they should absolutely read it if they are not.
