This set of CDs is an excellent supplement to The Study of Orchestration by Samuel Adler, one of the most gifted authors of orchestration books for aspiring composers and orchestrators. It is also a fine resource for accomplished composers . Dr. Adler covers every aspect of every instrument and every conceivable combination in a thorough manner in a way that leaves no questions unanswered. Very highly recommended.
