Seller's Description:
Good. No Jacket. 4 x 6. 216 page hardcover. Title continuation: "Designed to answer the purposes of a spelling book, and to supersede the necessity of the use of a dictionary as a class-book." Just good overall condition-several flaws to mention. Leather spine and printed board exterior. The leather spine is worn away on lower inch of spine exposing the gathered page edges. The back printed board is very lightly dampstained-a very minor flaw. The first page is the title page and it appears that the front free endpaper has been removed. The very light stain on the back cover also appears on a few text pages at the rear. Tight and clean copy of an old textbook.
