Al Brown grew up in Elberton, GA and moved to St. Simons Island, GA in 1972, the year he and Gayle were married. He played basketball on a scholarship at Gainesville College (Georgia) before transferring to The University of Georgia graduating in 1972 with a BBA degree majoring in Real Estate. Al Brown grew up in Elberton, GA and moved to St. Simons Island, GA in 1972, the year he and Gayle were married. He played basketball on a scholarship at Gainesville College (Georgia) before transferring to The University of Georgia graduating in 1972 with a BBA degree majoring in Real Estate. With a 52-year career (and counting) in real estate, Al spent 30+ years with Sea Island Company before starting Al Brown Company. One of his many accomplishments in real estate is that he brokered the highest priced residential sale in Georgia's history ($27,500,000).
