Ali Rachid is Professor of Sustainable Development and Tourism Management, Evaluation of the Tourism Potential of Territories, Ecotourism and Protected Areas, and Research Methodology at the International Higher Institute of Tourism in Tangier, Morocco.He contributed to the educational and training engineering for the repositioning of ISIT to LMD standards. He has also taught, as a Visiting Professor, in several universities, INAS of Tangier, Faculty of Economics of Abdelmalek Essaâdi University of Tangier, Faculty of Letters and Human Sciences of Tetouan, Polydisciplinary Faculty of Nador. He has participated in several national and international projects, notably in partnership with the Ministry of Tourism: George Washington University (P.A.T. and Rural Tourism in Morocco), Toronto and Harvard Universities (Ecotourism and desert landscapes, with publication), Yes Program Green with the Department of Environment and UNDP.... For several years, his research work has focused on the analysis of the issues of development and conservation of natural resources, and of the balance of power and conflicts between the countries of the North and the South in the management of the conservation of resources and the development.
