			 Anne Nolan was born in Dublin in 1950, the eldest of eight children. The family moved from Dublin to Blackpool the early 1960s shortly after which they started to tour as The Singing Nolans. Later The Nolan Sisters went on to achieve massive chart success with hits like 'I'm In The Mood For Dancing' which became a hit all over the world.
