Antony James was born in 1960 in Hackney, East London, to African-Caribbean parents; he grew up in East London. He studied at Birkbeck College gaining an honours degree in Humanities (linguistics and politics). He studied at Birkbeck College gaining an honours degree in Humanities (linguistics and politics). He left school in 1977 and commenced work in early 1978 eventually spending 19 years in Central Government, then working in Law firms in a variety of roles, he is now a law firm practice management consultant specialising in cost drafting, and quality and compliance issues. In 2008, he completed his first published novel 'Star Chamber' to critical acclaim. He hankers for the time when he can give up full time work to fulfil his passion for writing and complete the many novels started but not yet finished. See less
